A House for an Artist, Khmelnytskyi
An interior as a true work of art.
This project is deeply personal and extraordinarily creative. The apartment owner is an artist with an exceptionally refined aesthetic sensibility, so we approached the interior as a genuine work of art. Every detail was carefully considered to avoid familiar and predictable solutions. Instead, the space is filled with unique and exquisite elements — decorative shutters, staircase accents combining different textures, and original paintings that the owner will create herself for this warm home.
The colour palette is built on warm sandy tones and is entirely based on natural materials. The subtle interplay of light, texture, and thoughtful details creates an atmosphere of calm, cosiness, and timeless elegance. Filled with love, this home is meant to become a truly warm, comfortable, and wonderfully cosy space for a young family.
The bathroom wraps you in the warm textures of travertine and natural stone. Different scenarios of warm lighting, maximum storage, and a luxurious freestanding bath — all designed to restore energy and become a true place of strength for the owner.
The guest room also serves as the owner's studio, so it is designed for inspiration. An accent wall of wood, maximum lightness and airiness, breathtaking views from the windows, and even a mural on the ceiling — which, of course, will be a work of art by the owner herself.
The children's room is its own small universe. An enchanted forest painted on the walls, a dedicated creative corner on the small balcony, and the elegance of small beads that recur as a leitmotif in the chandelier, curtains, and mouldings.
And the bedroom. The most refined accent of this home. Soft and deep, filled with the textures of sandy velvet, weightless tulle, and the woven surface of canvases. And on the canvas, an image takes shape, writing the one-of-a-kind story of this home and this family.
